Some Sainsbury's salads contain "Israeli Cous Cous" which is larger than the usual cous cous (and really nice). A Nigel Slater recipe in The Observer today (Sept 7th) has an ingredient called mograbiah, which I think must be the same stuff. But where can you buy it? If only Sainsbury's could stock it....Any suggestions?

Shall we start a 'put mograbiah on the shelves' campaign? I also saw the Nigel Slater recipe, and absolutely LOVE that feta, chilli and mograbiah stuff which Sainsbury do! I'm sure that cosmopolitan types with access to middle-eastern stores may be able to find it, but out in the wilds of North Yorkshire it just ain't going to happen unless it comes to the supermarket!

We source our own brand cous cous from France and Italy. Our belazu cous cous is sourced from Morocco. We do not currently stock the mograbiah variety. However, we are currently revising our range and will look at this as part of our review. So keep an eye out for it maybe on a shelf near you soon….
