Rich amber in colour, this tawny port has layers of mellow flavours with smooth butterscotch, spiced toffee and a dried fruit complexity. The silky finish is long and elegant with an almond nuttiness. This 10 Year Old Tawny Port is blended from reserve wines produced on the steep hillsides of the Douro Valley. The wines are aged in small oak casks in cool lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia in northern Portugal. Over time, the final blend develops its characteristic tawny colour and mellow flavour. Ready to drink now, this tawny port is delicious with blue cheeses, fruit cake and creamy desserts like crème brûlée.
