Cooking instructions: Oven
Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Remove all packaging and allow to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes. Preheat oven. Brush the joint with 5ml of oil and season with salt and pepper. During cooking: Sear all sides of the joint in a hot pan for 6 minutes. Place the joint in a roasting dish and place on the middle shelf of the oven. Cooking time for rare is 20 minutes per 500g, medium is 27 minutes per 500g, and well done is 32 minutes per 500g After cooking: Remove from oven, cover joint in foil and leave to rest for 20-30 minutes. This product should be cooked until piping hot throughout. If cooking rare, check the surface is fully seared/browned. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.

For best quality, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date. Once frozen consume within 3 months. Once defrosted use the same day. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
