To pan fry from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Remove all packaging and allow steak to rest at room temperature for 20 minutes. Rub with 5ml of oil and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Preheat frying pan to a moderate heat. During cooking: Add the steak to the pan and cook for 4 minutes, turning every minute. Reduce the hob to moderate-low heat. Cooking times for rare are 10 minutes, medium 12 minutes and well done 16 minutes, turning regularly. After cooking: Remove from the pan and allow to rest for 2 minutes before serving. This product should be cooked until piping hot throughout. If cooking rare, check the surface is fully seared/browned. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
