Cooking instructions: Oven
Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Remove all packaging and allow to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes. Preheat oven 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6. Brush the joint with 5ml of oil and season with salt and pepper. During cooking: Sear all sides of the joint in a hot pan for 6 minutes. Place the joint in a roasting dish and place on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for 20 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas 4 and cook for 19 minutes per 500g for medium, and 25 minutes per 500g for well done. After cooking: Remove from oven, cover joint in foil and leave to rest for 20-30 minutes. This product should be cooked until piping hot throughout. If cooking rare, check the surface is fully seared/browned. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.

For best quality, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date. Once frozen consume within 3 months. Once defrosted use the same day. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
