Cooking instructions: Oven
Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Remove all packaging and allow to rest at room temperature for 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 6. During cooking: Place the joint in a roasting tray on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes reduce the oven temperature to 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas 4 and cook for: rare 25 minutes per 500g, medium 30 minutes per 500g and well done 35 minutes per 500g. After cooking: Remove from oven and leave to rest for 15 minutes before carving. This product should be cooked until piping hot throughout. If cooking rare, check the surface is fully seared/browned. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.

For best quality, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date. Once frozen consume within 3 months. Once defrosted use the same day. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
