Sainsbury's Welsh Hill Lamb Noisettes, Taste the Difference (Approx. 550g)

Cooking instructions: Oven

Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Preheat oven. Remove all packaging and leave lamb at room temperature for 20 minutes. Preheat 5ml of oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Season lamb with a sprinkle ¼ teaspoon of salt and cracked black pepper During cooking: Seal the lamb in the pan for 2 minutes each side (4 minutes in total). Add a knob of butter while cooking. Transfer lamb to an ovenproof dish, pour over pan juices and place on middle shelf of the oven. Cook for Medium 15-20 minutes Well done 20-25 minutes. After cooking: Allow to rest for 3 minutes before serving. If cooking rare, check the surface is fully seared/browned. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
