This is not your average seabass. While most seabass available in the UK is farmed, this is the real thing — a true wild fish, caught in its natural habitat and brought to shore by small boats fishing the coastline of Devon and Cornwall.

Wild seabass lives freely in fast-moving waters, growing more slowly and developing firmer flesh, deeper flavour, and higher levels of natural Omega-3 oils. You’ll taste the difference — and you’ll see it too: at around 1.2kg, these fish are significantly larger than their farmed cousins and ideal for sharing.
Supplied whole, gutted and descaled, this seabass is ready to cook and makes a spectacular centrepiece. Roast it simply with lemon, garlic and herbs, or grill it over charcoal to let the natural richness of the fish shine through.
