I do, or should I now say did eat steak, amazingDidn't expect much but oh my word, I absolutely would not have guessed vegan until my partner told me. We do eat steak sometimes, but no need to anymore as these were amazing. Just had in rolls with lettuce, tomato & horseradish, simply divine on both taste and texture, absolutely faultless, you've nailed it Squeaky bean

GARLIC!After reading how much like actual BEEF these tasted, I was so DISAPPOINTED
to smell GARLIC in the strips while I was frying them with some thin chips. The
garlic was the overriding taste. Had they really had a beefy taste I could have overlooked the rather non meat like texture. I have been a vegetarian for 5 years now but do miss the
taste of meat sometimes.

Better warmed through than coldI bought this as I haven't been able to find Quorn steak strips local to me and this was on offer and the reviews were good. I tried a piece cold and iI thought it had a really strange taste which I didn't like. It might be I'm used to the taste of Quorn steak strips and Quorn pepper steaks. But when heated they tasted totally different (only 30 seconds in the microwave) I had them in a wrap with baby leaf spinach, grated carrots, olives, baby toms and cooked haloumi, it was absolutely delicious. Would definitely by again if on offer, it's such a small pack that even at the offer price I thought it was expensive.

Why eat steak when you can eat this?It tastes like steak and it’s high in protein. What’s not to like? I love to add it to sandwiches (make your own Philly cheesteak), salads, rice bowls etc. Can’t beat it. Keep up the good work squeaky bean!!

MindblowingI write this review as a meat eater. I bought this based on the reviews, and I can confirm it does indeed taste like real steak. Nice soft texture too. I tried it straight from the packet, then had some in a burrito with cheese, diced green pepper, and jalapeno hot sauce. Honestly, if I was given this blind, I would not have guessed it was vegan. The best meat-free meat-substitute product I have ever tasted.

Fantastic productI really rate this. It’s very meaty and tastes great in a casserole. If Squeaky Bean could manufacture it as a “beef” joint, it would make a perfect Sunday roast. I love this company’s products. I eat it straight from the packet as well as using in recipes. Excellent product.
