Her iconic cuvée, Brut Carte Jaune, is synonymous with more than two centuries of know-how and an exceptional heritage. History: In 1810, Madame Clicquot invented the first Vintage Champagne, in 2015 Veuve Clicquot declared the 67th vintage of the Maison. The predominance of Pinot Noir with the touch (10%) of wines produced in oak casks and the prolonged aging on the lees give the power and aromatic richness so typical of Veuve Clicquot Vintage style.
Regional information: The Veuve Clicquot terroir encompasses one of the finest vineyards in the entire region, with 95% of Veuve Clicquot vines classified as Grand or Premier Crus.
Vinification: BLEND: 50% Pinot Noir 30% Chardonnay 20% Meunier. Champagne making is an intricate process, demanding the highest levels of savoir-faire and expertise. The knowledge, the artistry, the gestures have been refined, perfected and passed on over the course of generations.
