Carling Bank holiday getaways - Full Terms and Conditions

  1. Eligibility: Promotion is open to residents of the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or over except for employees and their immediate families of Molson Coors Brewing Company UK (Promoter), J. Sainsbury’s plc, agents or its affiliates, or anyone else professionally associated with this Promotion.
  2. Promotion period: Start date 08/04/15 Closing date is 23:59 inclusive on 29/05/15. The last entry draw will take place on 01/06/15 for all valid entries made between the 12/05/15 and 23:59pm on 29/05/15.
  3. Stock subject to availability of promotional packs in participating Sainsbury’s stores whilst stocks last.
  4. Internet access required.
  5. How to enter:
    a. Purchase of 1 x Promotional pack of Carling 15x440ml cans necessary.
    b. Enter unique code printed on the inside of promotional packs at www.carling.com/getaways for a chance to win.
    c. Personal details will be requested so that we may contact you if you are selected as a winner. The mandatory details requested to enter this promotion are full name, address including postcode, email address and telephone number. Entrants who do not provide this information will not be eligible to enter this promotion. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998. By entering, you consent to the data you submit being used for the purposes of administering this promotion, and for any other purposes you have consented to on entry (such as receiving marketing emails).
    d. The Promoter also requests consent to the use of personal data submitted for the purposes of this promotion so that the Promoter may contact you regarding products we think you would like in the future. If we do, you will always have an option to unsubscribe to future contact. Alternatively, if you do not wish to receive such communications, the option to opt-out is provided at the point of entry. Note the choice to opt-out of future communication does not have any bearing on the outcome of the promotion or your chance of winning.
    e. Only entries made during the promotional period will be eligible.
    f. Strictly 2 entries per person per day. Entries will be validated by email address. System checks will be run to check compliance with this condition and any entrants attempting to circumvent this will be disqualified.
    g. Strictly 1 x prize per person. Max 2 prizes per household.
    h. Promotional draws will be supervised by an independent party and will take place on the following dates:
      i. 17/04/15 – 33 x £500 Expedia vouchers and 5 x £100 Expedia vouchers to awarded on this date from all entries received between 08/04/15 and 23:59pm on 16/04/15.
      ii. 01/05/14 – 33 x £500 Expedia vouchers and 5 x £100 Expedia vouchers to awarded on this date from all entries received between 17/04/15 and 23:59pm on 30/04/15.
      iii. 12/05/15 – 33 x £500 Expedia vouchers and 5 x £100 Expedia vouchers to awarded on this date from all entries received between 01/05/15 and 23:59pm on 11/05/15.
      iv. 01/06/15 – 1 x £500 Expedia voucher and 6 x £100 Expedia vouchers will be awarded as a mop up draw prize for all entries received between 12/05/15 and 23:59pm on 29/05/15
    i. Winners will be notified by email and a subsequent phone call within 7 days of each draw date.
    j. Winners will receive their prize by email as a unique online gift code. Details of how to claim the prize and any restrictions will be provided as part of the same correspondence.
  6. The prizes are:
    a. 100 x £500 Expedia discount code, which can be redeemed at www.expedia.com
    b. 21 x £100 Expedia discount code, which can be redeemed at www.expedia.com
  7. All travel discount codes are valid for 12 months from date of issue. Date of issue is defined as the date in which winners are initially notified. After 12 months from date of issue, any remaining balance from the discount code will be cancelled.
  8. Discount codes to be treated as cash in terms of security so please look after them. Discount codes cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
  9. Discount codes cannot be returned, refunded or transferred. Cannot be sold or auctioned and any breach of this term will invalidate the code.
  10. Expedia reserves the right to refuse to accept a discount code which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or which otherwise is suspected to be affected from fraud including impersonation or identity fraud.
  11. Winners can use the discount code as part payment on Expedia.
  12. Discount codes can only be entered once.
  13. Discount codes will be sent to the email addresses registered at the point of prize acknowledgement. The Promoter is not responsible if email address details are entered incorrectly at the point of entry.
  14. General: In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavor to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment
  15. The winners may be requested to participate in publicity connected with the promotion without further notice. However, if the winner is under 25 yrs old or is deemed to look under the age of 25 the winner cannot be used in photographic publicity connected with the promotion but their name and county will be used.
  16. There is no cash alternative available in whole or in part, except in circumstances outside its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar alternative of equal or greater value and/or through another travel provider.
  17. Incomplete entries or entries not in accordance with the entry instructions are invalid. Sending an email or receipt of an email is not proof of delivery.
  18. The Promoter cannot accept responsibility for any entries that fail to be included whatsoever. The Promoter or its agencies are not responsible for message that are lost or delayed or which are unable to be sent due to lack of network coverage.
  19. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address and identity details (which entrants must provide within 14 days) and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.
  20. A list of winner’s names and counties can be obtained by writing to the Promoter at the below address within 3 months of the closing date.
  21. By taking part in this promotion all entrants will have been deemed to be bound by the terms and conditions.

  23. The Promoter shall, to the extent permitted by law, not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by entrants or prize winners relating to this promotion. Notwithstanding this, nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or for fraud. All participants must obey all instructions given when taking part in any of the prizes.
  24.
