Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. You will be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions from the time you submit an entry for the promotion (“Promotion”). Please retain a copy for your information.

“the Promoter” and “Data Controller”: Premier Foods Group Limited, Centrium Business Park, Griffiths Way, St Albans, Hertfordshire AL1 2RE. Please do not send entries to this address.

“the Provider”: The Zoological Society of London (ZSL). Registered charity in England and Wales no. 208728. Registered address: Regent’s Park, London, England NW1 4RY. Please do not send entries to this address.

  1. Eligibility: The Promotion is open to GB residents aged 18 and over, excluding employees (and their immediate family) of Premier Foods Group Limited and their affiliated companies, and anyone professionally connected with the promotion. Internet access is required. Entrants should ensure that they have the bill payer’s permission before sending a text entry.
  2. Promotional Period: The Promotion is open from 00.00 (Midnight) June 1st 2015 (UK time) (“Opening Time”) and closes 23.59pm July 31st 2015 (UK time) (“Closing Time”). In these Terms and Conditions, the period between the Opening Time and Closing Time is referred to as the “Promotional Period”.
  3. Prizes: Available Prizes are:
    • 2,000 ZSL London Zoo or ZSL Whipsnade Zoo Child Tickets (available for use by one Child accompanied by a paying adult aged 18 and over) (see Ticket Prizes below for more details)
    • 960 ZSL elephant hand puppets
    • 20 ZSL London Zoo or ZSL Whipsnade Zoo Family Tickets (2 Adults and 2 Children). (See Ticket Prizes below for more details)
    • 6 ZSL London Zoo or ZSL Whipsnade Zoo ‘Meet the Animals’ experience and zoo entrance (available for use by 1 Adult and 1 Child, OR 2 Adults). (See Experience Prizes (‘Meet the Animals’) below for more details)
    • 6 ZSL London Zoo or ZSL Whipsnade Zoo ‘Zoo Keeper for the Day’ experience, includes zoo entrance (available for use by an Adult or a Junior). Please note the Junior experience is only available in ZSL London Zoo. (See Experience Prizes (‘Keeper for a Day’) below for more details)
    • 2 Family Overnight Stays at Lookout Lodge (ZSL Whipsnade Zoo only). This includes one night’s stay for a Family (2 Adults and 2 Children OR 1 Adult, 1 Young Adult and 1 Child OR 1 Adult and 3 Children) and 2 days’ Family entry to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo OR 1 day to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo and 1 day to ZSL London Zoo. Winners are responsible for all associated travel costs. Dinner and breakfast included. (See Stay Prizes below for more details).
  4. Ticket Prizes: The Ticket Prizes can be taken up at both ZSL London Zoo and ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. A “Child” for the purposes of the Ticket Prizes means persons of 3-15 (inclusive) years old as at the date of the visit to ZSL London Zoo or ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. An “Adult” for the purposes of the Ticket Prizes means persons of 16 years and over at the date of the visit to ZSL London Zoo or ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. A Family Ticket is for 2 Adults and 2 Children. A Child ticket is for one Child only and Children must be accompanied by a paying Adult (aged 18 and over).
  5. Experience Prizes (‘Meet the Animals’): A “Child” for the purposes of this prize means persons of 3-15 (inclusive) years old as at the date of the visit to ZSL London Zoo or ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. The experience is the choice of one animal encounter from the list below, subject to availability and age, height and accessibility restrictions (please see table below)*. An “Adult” for the purposes of this prize means persons of 16 years and over when 2 adults take up the prize and 18 years and over when accompanying a child. This prize is available for use by 2 Adults OR 1 Adult and 1 Child. All Children must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 and over). Participants with learning or visual impairment must be accompanied by a carer.

    * ZSL reserves the right to alter the animals available for the experience on any given day due to animal welfare or health issues or changes to the zoo’s collection, but will ensure that if this is the case, then the activity will be replaced with another similar task. ZSL endeavors to keep such changes to a minimum.

  6. Experience Prizes (‘Keeper for a Day’): For this prize there are two experiences available, an ‘Adult Keeper for a Day’ experience and a ‘Junior Keeper for a Day’ experience. The ‘Junior Keeper for a Day’ experience is only available at ZSL London Zoo. This prize is not open to children aged 10 and under. An “Adult” for the purposes of this prize means persons of 16 years and over. A “Junior” for the purposes of this prize means persons of 11-15 (inclusive) years old as at the date of the visit to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo and must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 or over). The ‘Adult Keeper for a Day’ experience includes lunch and refreshments and the ‘Junior Keeper for a Day’ experience includes morning refreshments.

    Adult Keeper for a Day ZSL London Zoo Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays all year round, excluding public holidays.
    Adult Keeper for a Day ZSL Whipsnade Zoo Sessions run on all weekdays from April to October, excluding public holidays.
    Junior Keeper for a Day* ZSL London Zoo only The experience runs on weekdays in February, Easter, spring, summer and October school holidays.

    *An adult (aged 18 and over) is required to accompany the Junior participant throughout the experience. The adult’s entry to the zoo is included in the prize.

  7. Stay Prize: A “Child” for the purposes of this prize means persons of 5-13 (inclusive) years old as at the date of the visit. A “Young Adult” for the purposes of this prize means persons of 14-17 (inclusive) years as at the date of the visit. An “Adult” for the purposes of this prize means persons of 18 years and over as the date of the visit. A “Family” for the purposes of the overnight stay at Lookout Lodge means 2 Adults and 2 Children, OR 1 Adult and 3 Children OR 1 Adult, 1 Young Adult and 2 Children. Children under 5 years are not able to attend on any night. Children aged 5-13 years old are welcome to attend on Family Friendly nights only. If you would prefer to swap the experience for an Adult Only night, please call 0344 225 1826 to change it. The Adult Only night is open to 2 Adults only, staying in 1 lodge. The Lookout Lodge is open from late March until October on all nights except Tuesday.   8. All Ticket / Experience / Stay Prizes are subject to availability and must be booked and used by 30 June 2016. In certain circumstances, bookings may have to be rescheduled by the Provider in accordance with the Provider’s usual Terms and Conditions http://www.zsl.org/shopping-terms and in such circumstances the Winner will have the opportunity to make an alternative booking. Where applicable, the Winner will be given the opportunity to choose between the two zoo locations: ZSL London Zoo and ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. Advance booking in accordance with the Provider’s usual Terms and Conditions (http://www.zsl.org/shopping-terms) for all Ticket / Experience / Stay Prizes is required and is the responsibility of the Winner.
  9. There is no upper age limit for any of the Prizes. However, some activities in the Experience and Stay prizes may be strenuous and require from the participant a reasonable level of fitness to take part. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate those with a disability or learning difficulty, due to practicality this cannot always be achieved. Please contact ZSL on 0344 225 1826 prior to attending an event to discuss any medical issues or disabilities in order to avoid any disappointment and to discuss options.
  10. All Prizes listed are limited to what is described in Clauses 3 to 7. Any additional costs, including transportation and food costs, are not included unless expressly specified. Any such additional costs will be the responsibility of the Winner.
  11. All Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and are non-redeemable for a cash alternative or any other Prize. The Promoter reserves the right (but is not obliged) to substitute the Prize with a reasonably equivalent alternative Prize or Prizes equal or greater in monetary value if this is necessary due to reasons beyond the Promoter’s control.
  12. Gift: 3,000 coupons at the value of £0.50 each, towards the purchase of Mr. Kipling Milkshake Snack Pack products, will be given to a random selection of unsuccessful entrants as a ‘sorry you haven’t won, but thank you for entering’ token.
  13. To participate: Entrants must purchase a “Summer Adventures” promotional pack of a Mr. Kipling Snack Pack product then text the word SUMMER followed by a space then the unique 8 digit entry code found on the inside of the packaging to the number 80878 – for example “SUMMER 12345678’’. One unique entry code = one entry. All entries must be received prior to the Closing Time.
  14. Text entries are charged at your standard network rate, but may not be included in, and may be charged outside of, any pre-paid text package.
  15. The Promoter will respond with a bounce-back text message within 24 hours of receiving each valid entry as confirmation of receipt of entry. The Promoter is responsible for the cost of this entry confirmation, which is the only proof of receipt of entry that the Promoter will provide. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any text entries or bounce-back messages that are delayed, lost, damaged, incomplete, unreadable or fail to be received or sent, whether due to failure or non-availability of any mobile or other communications network or for any other reason. Each entrant must ensure that the mobile phone account and number they have used to enter the Promotion is active and valid, and that they are contactable on the same throughout the Promotional Period and for two weeks thereafter.
  16. There is a limit of one entry per unique entry code. If the Promoter has grounds to suspect that any entrant or third party of circumventing these terms (including, without limitation, using a computer(s), multiple mobile phone accounts, multiple names/addresses, manipulating the choice of Winner(s) or any entry), the Promoter reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any entrant, entry or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for or associated with such activity. Any Prize award will also be void. No third party or bulk entries will be accepted. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  17. Winner Selection: There is at least one opportunity to win every hour during the Promotional Period. Winners and Prizes will be randomly selected in two stages.
    First stage – Winner selection:
    Winner(s) will be selected at the first stage. At least once an hour during the Promotional Period, a Winner will be chosen from the pool of successfully submitted valid unique entry codes (the ‘Entries Pool’) by a secure, independently verified computer system. The Entries Pool will be made up of all valid unique entry codes successfully received by the Promoter from the beginning of the Promotional Period up to the point of each Winner selection. Once a valid unique entry code has been selected as a winning code that unique code will then be removed from the Entries Pool. All other valid unique entry codes that have not been selected as a winning code will remain in the Entries Pool. If there are no valid unique entry codes in the Entries Pool at the time that a Winner is initially scheduled to be selected in a given hour then additional Winner(s) will be chosen the following hour in addition to the Winner(s) scheduled to be selected in that next hour. The allocation of Winners will continue to roll on in this way until enough Winners have been selected to make up the shortfall.

    Second stage – Prize selection:
    The type of Prize that each Winner will receive will be allocated at the second stage. Once a Winner has been selected they will receive a text notifying them of their successful entry along with a unique validation number. The Winner’s Prize will be allocated when the Winner inputs this validation number into the supporting microsite http://summeradventures.mrkipling.co.uk/ along with their valid corresponding mobile phone number used to enter the Promotion. The Winner’s Prize will be randomly selected from all the Prizes that remain to be allocated at that time (the ‘Prize Pool’). This will be done by a secure, independently verified computer system. The Winner will be immediately notified of which Prize they have won from the Prize Pool on the microsite.

  18. Winner Notification: Winners will receive notification by text message to the number used to enter the Promotion within 24 hours of the hour in which they win. The text message will contain a URL link where entrants must enter their validation code, details, including their UK address and email details, within 28 days of notification in order to claim their prize. At this point they will be given the opportunity to opt in to receiving future marketing materials from both Premier Foods and ZSL.
  19. Prize delivery: Coupons, elephant hand puppets and vouchers that are redeemable for Child Tickets, Family Tickets, the Meet the Animals experience, Keeper for a Day experience and Lookout Lodge stay will be dispatched by post within 35 days once the Winner’s details and address are received in accordance with Clause 18 of these Terms and Conditions.
  20. By entering the Promotion, each entrant agrees to be bound by (i) these Terms and Conditions; (ii) the Premier Foods Group Limited website general terms of use http://www.premierfoods.co.uk/premierfoods/terms-of-site-use.cfm; (iii) the Premier Foods Group Limited website privacy policy http://www.premierfoods.co.uk/privacy-statement.cfm; and, where applicable, (iv) the ZSL website Terms and Conditions http://www.zsl.org/zsl-website-terms-and-conditions, (v) ZSL Terms and Conditions http://www.zsl.org/terms-and-conditions-goods-and-services, and (vi) ZSL Shopping Terms http://www.zsl.org/shopping-terms.
  21. The Promoter is responsible for awarding the Prizes as described in these Terms and Conditions. However, use of the Ticket and Experience Prizes is subject to the Provider’s usual Terms and Conditions http://www.zsl.org/shopping-terms. It is the Winners’ responsibility to comply with those Terms and Conditions. All queries, complaints and claims regarding the use of the Ticket and Experience Prizes should be directed to summeradventures@20Ten.co.uk.
  22. On request from the Promoter, entrants may need to provide proof of name, age and address to validate that they meet the entry requirements and can accept the Prize.
  23. It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that all contact details (including names/addresses/email addresses) submitted to the Promoter are correct. Such contact details cannot be changed once submitted to the Promoter.
  24. In the event that the Promoter does not receive from the Winner any response to the notification (as referred to in Clause 18 of these Terms and Conditions) within 28 days of the initial notification, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random to receive the Prize. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, an alternative winner shall be deemed a Winner.
  25. The Winners’ details (full name and county only) will be available on request from the Promoter for up to 6 months after the Closing Time by sending a self-addressed envelope to Mr. Kipling Summer Adventure Promotion, 20Ten Creative Ltd, 140 Wardour Street, London, W1F 8ZT. Winners agree that their details will be made available in this way.
  26. Any Winner may be required to take part in non-paid publicity or advertising relating to the Promotion, which may include having their photograph taken for promotional and press purposes.
  27. The Promoter reserves the right to modify or suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, but will make every reasonable effort to minimise the effect of this.
  28. By entering the Promotion, each entrant consents to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of the Promotion. At the micro-site stage when the Winner is required to enter their validation code, the Winner will have the opportunity to opt in to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of advertising, promotion and/or publicity in connection with the Promotion. Please note that this data may be processed outside of the EU.
  29. The Promotion, these Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any question concerning the legal interpretation of these Terms and Conditions or any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claim) that arises out of or in connection with the Promotion.
