Tasting Notes Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon American Whiskey has a complex aroma of vanilla, mint and molasses. Sweet to the taste, with notes of brown sugar & spice that give way to oak, toffee, dark fruit & anise. This whiskey finished long & smooth with serious depth. Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon American Whiskey has won over 100 awards since 2000, including Gold medal at 2020 World Whiskies Awards and Double Gold medal at 2019 North American Bourbon and Whiskey competition. Using the finest Kentucky and Indiana corn, selected rye and superior malted barley. For over 200 years the Buffalo Trace Distillery has been defined by a dedication to one craft: making fine Bourbon American Whiskey. Buffalo Trace liquid is gently aged in new American oak barrels to create a perfectly balanced flavour of sweet, oak and spice, leaving a long, smooth finish. Aroma: A complex aroma of vanilla, mint and molasses. Colour: A deep amber Whiskey. Taste: Sweet to the taste, with notes of brown sugar & spice that give way to oak, toffee, dark fruit & anise. Finish: Finishing long & smooth with serious depth. Buffalo Trace is best enjoyed neat or in an Old Fashioned. Old Fashioned 50ml Buffalo Trace, 5ml Volare sugar syrup/ or a sugar cube, 3 dashes Regan's Bitters. Add the sugar and bitters into a small tumbler/rocks glass and mix with a spoon until combined. Fill the glass with large ice cubes and stir in the Buffalo Trace. If you have an orange at home, garnish with a small piece of orange.
