Too medicinal for useI really struggled with this toothpaste. The flavour is incredibly strong and medicinal, it honestly felt like brushing with bleach, which made me quite nervous about accidentally swallowing any.

In terms of results, I didn’t notice any visible whitening effect on my own teeth after using it as directed for two weeks. While someone else in my household did see a slight improvement, for me, the unpleasant experience simply wasn't worth it. Beyond the taste, I personally prefer a toothpaste that prioritises comprehensive gum and enamel health over just whitening. I don't see this becoming part of my regular routine, and given how off-putting the flavour is, I doubt I’ll be reaching for it again, even for occasional use.

Good with timeI recently had the opportunity to test the Colgate Max White Ultra Freshness Pearls Teeth Whitening Toothpaste, and my experience improved over time.

On first use, I'll admit I didn't like the taste at all - it felt quite strong and a bit overpowering. However, by around the third day I'd gotten used to it.

The "freshness pearls" also feel a little unusual at first. That said, after a few uses I adjusted to the texture and it now just feels like part of the cleaning experience rather than anything off-putting.

I'm a regular tea drinker (usually three or more cups a day), so staining is something I actively notice. After using this toothpaste consistently, I did see an improvement in the whiteness of my teeth, particularly in reducing those surface stains.

Overall, while there's a short adjustment period with both the taste and texture, the results are worth it.

WHITER TEERHTastes like dentists! I have gotten used to the taste a little bit but I don't think I would buy due to the taste. However, my teeth are actually whiter and so I have kept using it despite the taste!

Colgate Teeth WhiteningThis product works well, I am conflicted though, as the taste is awful for me!! My teeth are visible whiter after two weeks, even a matter of days, people have noticed and commented. However, I just can't get over the taste and texture of the toothpaste!

Deep cleaning, whitening toothpasteI have been using this toothpaste for the last 2 weeks, brushing my teeth at least twice a day, and I must say that the results were pleasantly surprising.

The packaging states that teeth will be white within 3 days and I did definitely notice a bigger change in whiteness compared to other tooth whitening toothpastes I've used in the past.

And after 2 weeks my teeth are a much brighter shade of white, and after every brush my teeth feel really clean and stay that way even after eating and drinking.

The only thing I can see being an issue for some people would be the taste, as it is not a minty toothpaste, instead of us a much more medicinal flavour, similar to another old fashioned brand that is still available today, but as I've used that brand before it was not an issue for me, and I actually find the aftertaste stayed with me for hours, unlike most mint flavoured toothpastes.

Overall I highly recommend this if you are looking for a whitening toothpaste that really works.
