History: With over 150 years of wine-making heritage in the Catalonia region west of Barcelona, Freixenet is renowned for the quality and consistency of its wine. At the heart of Freixenet, is the mission, to “help the world celebrate all of life's moments, big or small".
Regional information: Freixenet Italian Sparkling Rosé is a delicate blend of Glera and Pinot Noir grapes, carefully selected from the finest Italian vineyards.
Vinification: Whole grape bunches are gently pressed and the juice undergoes slow cooled fermentation. This preserves the grape's delicate aromatics and freshness. The second fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in pressurized stainless steel tanks. After a few weeks, the result is a fruity and fresh sparkling wine.
