- IMODIUM® is for the symptomatic relief of diarrhoea only and is not a substitute for rehydration therapy. - One dose of two Imodium® capsules can relieve diarrhoea quickly and effectively.

Safety Information

Imodium® is for the symptomatic relief of diarrhoea only and is not a substitute for rehydration therapy. Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Warnings: Do not take more than directed. Loperamide works mainly on the gut but too much can cause serious heart problems and have opioid effects. Recycle carton and leaflet, don't recycle blister.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Loperamide hydrochloride 2mg Other Ingredients: Lactose, maize starch, talc, magnesium stearate (E572)
Capsule cap: titanium dioxide (E171), yellow ferric oxide (E172), indigo carmine (E132), gelatin
Capsule body: titanium dioxide (E171), black ferrous oxide (E172), indigo carmine (E132)
erythrosine (E127), gelatin

Preparation and Safety

DOSAGE: For oral use only. Short-term diarrhoea: Adults and children over 12: Take 2 capsules to start treatment. Take 1 capsule after each loose bowel movement, up to a maximum of 6 capsules per day. If your diarrhoea lasts for more than 48 hours, consult your doctor. Not recommended for children under 12 years. IBS Diarrhoea, previously diagnosed by a doctor: Adults aged 18 years and over: Take 2 capsules to start treatment. Take 1 capsule after each loose bowel movement, or as previously advised by a doctor, up to a maximum of 6 capsules per day. You can use this medicine for up to 2 weeks for repeated attacks, but do not take for any one attack lasting longer than 48 hours. If your symptoms change, worsen or are not improved after 2 weeks, consult your doctor.

Great for IBS emergencies !As someone that suffers from IBS flare ups it can be really uncomfortable and anxiety provoking when going out. But these tablet worked wonders for any symptoms I had, they lasted a great pit of and they worked quickly. Perfect for emergencies or general upsets

Does what it says!This product does what it says!
Works well for someone with IBS, stopped the diarrhoea one dose after the initial two tablets.
Doesn’t help with the IBS cramps but it does help you feel more comfortable overall.
I would definitely purchase this again.
