Our unpasteurised salted butter is crafted from unpasteurised cream, slowly cultured for at least 12 hours to create a beautifully velvety texture and deeper, more complex aromas. It is then churned the traditional way for an authentic, full-bodied flavour. Its rich buttercup colour is a testament to the lushness of the Normandy pastures.
Founded in 1909 in Normandy, the Isigny Sainte-Mère Cooperative is world-renowned for its exceptional dairy products.
Drawing on the richness of its milk ("the white gold of Normandy)", Isigny Sainte-Mère produces butters, creams and cheeses that are distinguished by their unique flavours, cementing its worldwide reputation. Collected within a maximum 50 km radius of the Cooperative, the milk is delivered within 48 hours to the Isigny Sainte-Mère cooperative to preserve all its qualities.
Located in the heart of Normandy, in the Baie des Veys where the land meets the sea, the Isigny terroir is exceptionally rich, offering cows unparalleled grazing to produce high-quality milk.
The dedicated people who make up the Cooperative, milk producers and employees, work tirelessly every day to transform and add value to the milk from their region into products of unrivalled excellence.
