Preparation and Safety

Rub 2 precious drops between the palms of your hands. Apply evenly through the lengths and ends of wet or dry hair. Excellent my go toI’ve been using this since my teens but it’s always been my favourite hair product works extremely well and it’s not heavy like other oil products. Great smooth hair that’s affordable to buy and dose exactly what it says am a model and influencer and I recommend it to all the women who love loreal products.

Beware of using with heat if your hair is damaged!Parts of my hair are overprocessed and dry. Just be aware, this product doesn't offer any heat protection (my bad for assuming ot did and not checking the label, which incidentally, doesn't say it offers heat protection and doesn't say it doesn't). After a few uses on damp hair before blow drying, followed by straighteners, I couldn't understand why the ends of my hair had suddenly begun to look like I'd done 12 rounds of 40 volume and why the frazzle was creeping up my hair. The damage was irreparable. Fab as a finishing touch after styling, but please, DO NOT USE BEFORE HEAT IF YOUR HAIR IS SIGNIFICANTLY DAMAGED!!

Amazing product !!What amazing product !!! I have curly ringlets and also colour it and my hair drives me mad . Used this before washing and also before styling and the difference is unbelievable my hair is less frizzy calm and feels amazing. The colour is also vibrant . Will be def be buying again X

Fabulous product!!I received the Elvive Extraordinary Oil free from L'Oreal Paris. I was a bit dubious about the product at first as I thought it might leave my hair greasy. My hair is thick and quite dry from colouring. I used a tiny amount of the product and smoothed it through the ends of my hair. It immediately calmed the frizz and gave my hair a lovely shine. I use it every day now.. It's amazing!!

Dried my hair outI was excited to receive the Extraordinary Oil. The packaging is lovely. It comes in a glass bottle, which looks really smart on my dressing table. I've used hair oils for a while now, I usually use argan on wet hair and find that it nourishes my dry, coloured, wavy hair and tames the frizz. So I was open to trying a new product. When I put the recommended amount of Extraordinary Oil in my hands, it smelt strongly of alcohol, so much so that I couldn't detect any other fragrance. I put the oil on my wet hair and then dried and styled in as I usually would. I wasn't as impressed with Extraordinary Oil as my usual oil. I found that it dried my hair quite a bit, making it look a bit... fragile. I really think that this is because of the high alcohol content. I can't recommend this product as it didn't suit my hair, unfortunately.

Nataliemh7I have received the elvive extraordinary oil colour for free from L'oreal Paris and I have found it to work really well.
I dye my hair every six weeks and tie it back for work everyday, so my hair is weak and brittle, but since using this product my hair feels soft, looks really shiny, smells really nice and I have no flyaway pieces of hair like I normally do.
The product doesn't make my hair look greasy like other products have, I will definitely be buying more of this.

A new must have!I was a bit unsure of what to expect from this product as I have quite greasy hair so was very dubious about adding more oil to it.
I shouldn't have been so worried!
It doesn't make my hair greasy at all, it's very light!
Makes my hair feel soft and shiny like I've just stepped out of the salon!
Normally I would have avoided such products but am very happy to admit that I would have missed out!
I can't recommend this highly enough!

Wow!! I Love this!I couldn't wait to receive my free bottle of Elvive Extraordinary oil from L'Oreal Paris and I have to say it was well worth the wait. I absolutely love this product, it does exactly what it says on the tin (OK Bottle). As my hair has been extensively coloured for most of my adult life, it does have a tendency to be very dry on the ends, even to the point of having a dry feel when I am shampooing, and after towel drying seems to resemble a birds nest rather than freshly washed hair.. After applying 2 drops of this oil on to my hair from Mid length to tip before washing the difference is AMAZING. it feels smooth and sleek when rinsing and when it has been towel dried I can comb through it without the usual knots and tangles that I had previously, Even after blow drying you can see the difference as there is no sign of the usual frizz. If my hair looks a bit fly away I use use just 1 drop of this oil warmed in the hands and lightly smoothed over to restore order. This is one product I will definitely be buying again, and again and again and (OK I think you get the drift).

Dry fizzy coloured hair!!When I received Elvive Extraordinary oil for coloured hair, I was expecting that it might turn my fine frizzy hair into oily n lank. To my amazement it is totally different. First of all the look of the bottle which is golem in colour seems an expensive brand, secondly it has dispenser which makes it so easy to dispense desired amount into your hands without having to worry to close the lid. Thirdly is its subtle perfume which gives impression of natural ingredients. Then, when I applied it into my fine frizzy coloured hair, it just tamed them and made them shiny without making them stick to my scalp. People have noticed the extra shiny and lovely smell from my hair. I would definitely recommend the product. I will be purchasing again in the future.

Wow wow wowA big thank you to Loreal Paris for sending me this amazing Elvive Extraordinary Oil for Colour Hair to review.
I just loved it, I would like to know if it's available in a plastic bottle so that I know I could pack in into luggage or my gym bag etc without the fear of it smashing. It's a wonderful product which smells great and feels very luxurious on my hair. I have shoulder length hair and two pumps of product is just enough so it will be great from a cost point of view too because it will last. It left my hair feeling and smelling lovely and not greasy at all, I tried it on both wet and dry hair and love it. I will definitely be purchasing again and it will become a permanent fixture in my bathroom cabinet for sure. Loved it.
