Leaves greasy residue behindA few months ago I noticed a big difference in how my hair feels after using the Elvive Colour Protect shampoo. It feels like I can’t seem to wash it off my hair and scalp and when I dry it it feels like my roots are coated with a waxy film. This is no matter how long I spend trying to wash it out in the summer and this happens even when I don’t use any conditioner. I haven’t changed anything about the water I use to wash my hair in or anything else about my hair routine. Very strange and disappointing! My hair dresser had to wash my hair 4 times to get my scalp to feel clean when had it cut and blow dried recently.

ConditionerL'Oréal Colour Protect Shampoo lathers well and my hair felt clean after. I used the conditioner too and my hair looked glossy after drying. I had dyed my hair the week before and the shampoo and conditioner seem to colour protect. I’ve only used it a few times so can't really say if it leaves intense colour upto 40 washes. I don't think it's as moisturising as some of their other shampoos.

My go to productThis conditioner is my go to product since I reviewed it a few years ago. I have had coloured and treated hair for several years, and this is the only product that both protects hair and leaves it feeling smooth, shiny, and in good condition.

Colour ProtectThe Colour Protect range is a great affordable line. This conditioner is lightweight but works well at smoothing hair. I especially like the fact that there are UV filters to protect my hair from the sun especially while on holiday and keep my colour fresher for longer.

Gorgeous smelling hair and longer lasting colourI started using this conditioner (and matching shampoo) straight after colouring my hair and used for over a month.
Only a small amount is needed to leave hair feeling silky soft! I love the scent of the range too, and others also compliment me on how good my hair smelt. I did notice that my hair colour (a deep red) looked more vibrant for longer and my hair looked healthy and glossy. I will continue to use this range.
