PalmysteryDelicious. But what about the palm oil? I bought them because Sainsbury's state the palm oil is RSPO. However, there is no mention of this on the packaging. Just had a quick look at McVitie's website and that was no help.
Generally, please give us more choice of biscuits that have no palm oil. And cakes!

Only thing I can eat safely!As a sufferer of IBS there is not much I can eat, less so that includes the fibre I need. This makes McVities Fig Rolls a Godsend. Without them I am in a lot of pain, yes occasionally you get a bad packet, or they are a little singed but out of the hundreds I buy each year this is minor I’d say 1-2 packs out of 100. They have less sugar in an entire pack that a standard bar of chocolate and are much better for you. I would really recommend these to anyone who does NOT have a gluten allergy.

Enjoyed for decadesSome negative reviews are suspect in motive and misleading.

There is 30% fig paste filling, thats a good balance and enough for me, I don't like loads. Sainsburys brand claims 32%, 7 % more, not much more as in some reviews.

The biscuit is nice, crumbly and a bit chewy, not sofy doughy and claggy. Fig paste is high quality. They are also curved in profile not flat as reported in one review.

I have tried Sainsburys, Bolands which are hard and others over the years and these are the best and I'm a fussy git.

ApallingHard pastry, very little filling compared to the (discontinued?) Sainsbury's own brand, and leave an unpleasant bitter aftertaste in the mouth - not a good buy at 3 times the price of the budget brands - binned the rest of the packet

Excellent flavour and milk free!Well done Mc Vitie! Lovely soft pastry and tasty filling and all without milk products! (Take note please Sainsburys!)
The only way to better this product would be a guarantee it was completely milk free &/or vegan approved.

never had branded before, never will againThis are truly awful, will be binning the rest after the two i had.
McVitie's what are you doing, needs a recipe overhaul or i guess some people may like them having not tried unbranded.

Poor substitute for Sainsbury’s own brandHad these substituted on a click and collect, such a poor substitute. They’re flat not round and more importantly there is too much pastry to filling, it just tastes wrong. So only buy if you like pastry with a hint of fig. At £1.45 to 37p it’s a no brainer.
