DaintyThese taste nice but the flavour bears little resemblance to flapjacks. I can barely taste any golden syrup. If you judge them as flapjacks you’ll feel cheated but if you don’t have any expectations of what you’ll get expect you will probably enjoy it more. The texture is both soft and chewy. The layer of chocolate is so saying it is barely discernible. My biggest gripe about these bars is they are so tiny. They are the sort of size you might get offered as a free sample but they aren’t big enough to satisfy a navvy. A couple of digestive biscuits would be more satisfying than one of these bars, and a lot cheaper too. But despite my criticisms, I still enjoyed it.
