Not sour cream We use plant-based fat to give this product the super creamy texture one expects from a fraiche. So now, if the recipe says créme fraiche or sour creme, but you have a strong and personal reason not to consume anything named créme or sour, just use this one instead. And if the recipe says Creamy Oat Fraiche, you are probably reading a very progressive food blog that knows to use a product with less saturated fats than the cow-based counterparts. No dairy, no soy, no telling what a crème fraiche is anyway. It’s like sour cream but is it sour cream? You don’t have to care anymore.
