One of the best Spanish white wines you can buyAlbariño is one of the best white wines from Spain. With this particular wine in the taste the difference range reflects the quality it really is ideal served icy cold for the hot summer weather. Fab acidity and a lovely soft floral flavour on the edge of the tongue, I highly recommend this wine. Also great value, buy three 25% discount.

Not so good latelyThe 2021 label was superb. Crisp and fresh, multi-layered and yet light, tasty with any food or on it's own. I drank gallons of it when it was on offer. And then the 2022 label came with my delivery and you would not believe it was the same wine. Quite acidy and disappointing. Drinkable with a splash of fizzy water in it or in the cooking. What a shame.

Taste the Difference - Tastes like something else!I bought three bottles (offer) based on previous reviews, but now see why some reviews were so bad. Either this year's vintage is terrible, or some enthusiastic reviewers aren't familiar with Albarino. It's drinkable, but quite acidic, with none of the usual fruit/floral flavours of a decent Albarino - and certainly none of the peach claimed on the label. Sadly, closer to "Taste the Plonk" than "Taste the Difference".
