The Lisboa region runs up the Atlantic coast of Portugal from the capital and is the second largest wine producing region in the country. This deeply coloured and boldly flavoured red caresses the palate with red and black fruit notes and spicy depth.
This wine is produced by Casa Santos Lima, a family owned company, well-known in Portugal for producing exceptional quality wines. The climate in this region is warm, so allowing the grapes to fully ripen and be packed full of flavour.
This is a very food friendly wine but is particularly good with red meats and pasta dishes.
