Quality has changedWhat has happened to this soup! I used to have this all the time, but it must have been changed. It is now watery vegetables with very little chicken and it’s also very bland. Such a shame but its just not good enough for the price.

Good soup - when yo manage to get the lid offOh dear, those lids! I have to slide a serrated steak knife between the rim and the "phalange" to break that and then use a pair of pliers to wrench off the lid. Surely the carton makers can devise a safer and easier lid for these tubs. Have deducted 2 stars for difficulty in opening.

Good soup but badly designed containerThe soup is quite good but the container is awful. As you get older your fingers and wrists get weaker and the lid on this carton is so difficult to remove that I will think twice about buying this soup. The plastic is very brittle and it's quite easy to cut yourself trying to prise it off. Mind you Sainsbury's soups are almost as difficult to open. Maybe tinned soups are the best solution for seniors!

I rename this soup vegetable with a bit of chickenWhen I came across Roast Chicken soup with traditional vegetables it sounded very appetising. I would have expected it to contain a little more than 3% roast chicken (should have read the small print). I do feel I have been mis-sold this soup, the vegetables have been so strained you can’t really work out what it actually contains until you read the ingredients. It doesn’t actually taste bad but it’s hard to know what you are eating. I could taste black pepper but the other herbs and spices, I couldn’t make them out. It was overall very disappointing, for the price. I think Sainsbury’s need to look at this product carefully and maybe re name it. Mystery Soup and cut the price in half or less.

Unpleasant tasting expensive soup.I bought this yesterday and was looking forward to a really good chicken soup. Unfortunately this soup is the worst chicken soup I have tasted. It was thick with a bitter after taste, very little chicken flavour or meat. Even the vegetables were of a strange flavour. Very unpleasant and expensive. Will not be buying again.
