Lovely textureEasy to sift compared to other brands of which quality seems to have deteriorated recently. Icing does appear a darker colour though, which is fine for say a coffee sponge and acceptable in a Victoria sandwich, but you couldn't use to ice a Christmas cake really

Colour not goodI use Billingtons caster sugar all the time but I do not like the colour of this icing.
On a carrot or coffee cake it looks good but instead of an ordinary white icing - no Thank you not for me.

It's still unhealthyNot a health food - don't be tricked. Too strong-flavoured for delicate cakes but OK for carrot cake topping.

Yum!Fantastic icing! So much nicer and 'healthier' then refined icing sugar. The flavour is smooth & caramel-like - absolutely perfect for icing cakes such as carrot cake, cupcakes etc - an added depth of flavour without putting additives or flavouring in. Wouldn't use any other : )
