Preparation and Safety

Perfectly portioned meals for 1-3 year olds or serve with extra veggies for 4-5 year olds. Charlotte loves serving this meal with peas and quartered cherry tomatoes. Preparation instructions: 1 Remove sleeve and pierce film in several places. 2 Heat for 1 min 40 secs at 900w from chilled (4 mins from frozen). 3 Let it rest for 2 mins. 4 Remove the film, check temperature, stir and serve. This packaging is suitable for microwave use only, not for oven heating.

Keep refrigerated. Suitable for freezing. Freeze before use by date and use within 3 months. Once defrosted do not refreeze and use within 24 hours.

Expanding kids' tastesMy daughter is very picky when it comes to foods like vegetables. She often won't even try them before refusing. I'm always trying to find ways to get her to expand her tastes and eat more healthy veg. I wasn't 100% sure how this would go down with her, but she loves regular lasagne and so was happy to give this a try. I can't believe she ended up eating lentils and mushrooms with no fuss! It's a really convenient option for a super-quick kid-friendly meal too.
