Southern Fried Tenders and Gravy Coat chicken in flour, dip into a beaten egg and then cover with Paxo breadcrumbs. Cook until crispy and piping hot. Serve with Bisto Southern Style gravy. Buffalo Cauliflower Wings Blanch cauliflower florets. Toss in a buffalo sauce and oil mix, then coat with Paxo Breadcrumbs. Cook until crispy and piping hot.

Great for homemade fakeawaysWe've been trying to cut costs, as most people are at the moment, and so a weekly takeaway has been replaced by homemade versions. These were great for homemade chicken strippers and we were able to use a decent amount of chicken, unlike some of the frozen versions. It was simple to use and had a great mix of herbs and spices.

Really versatile and easy to useI admittedly haven't used this enough to do it the justice that I know that it deserves, however, this doesn't change the fact that it's a convenient, versatile product - a quick and easy way to make a meal just that little more exciting. It's not just for meat-eaters, though, of course - vegetarians can take advantage, too, as can vegans. In effect, I'd long forgotten this phase in my life - where I would become obsessed with trying the stuff for myself (I wasn't personally a vegan - just curious!) - but a vegan-friendly substitute for egg is what's called "aquafaba." Much like some could deduce from the word itself, it's something to do with water and beans; more specifically, bean water. No, seriously 😅 Most, I think, tend to get it as a kind of bonus from opening a can of chickpeas, but you can also source it "naturally" by cooking dried beans. Amazingly, this stuff actually mimics egg quite well (I confess that my primary fixation with aquafaba was the potential to make macaroons with it 🤣). Simply follow the very straightforward instructions provided on the tub, using egg or aquafaba (According to Google AI, 3 tablespoons of aquafaba are equivalent to 1 egg.) or some other alternative to act as your binder to help coat (white) fish or chicken, cheese (🤤), or veggies, or some conglomeration of these, prior to baking or frying. Also suitable to sprinkle over dishes

Dead good breadcrumbsThese worked perfectly for making authentic southern fried chicken. Tasty and easy to use, I mixed with flour and egg, slapped some chicken over it and boom!
