Excellent cheeseBought for the very first time today and finding it wrapped in wax paper was very encouraging. But then when that was removed it was vacuum wrapped, which dented my hopes a little. It is an excellent cheese but needs breathing and eat within a few days to get the best out of it and enjoy the flavour.

Artisan Cheese Shop Quality[Employee of Sainsbury's] This would not be out of place in an artisan cheese shop. It has a real tasty centre, very pale with a crumbly texture. But as it gets towards the outer it morphs into a lovely softer much creamier cheese. The rind adds a depth of strength.

Sainsbury's Craft CheesesI have been a consumer of this fine cheese for 5 years.There is not one part of this cheese that is inedible, even the rind is edible.
I'm so pleased that Sainsbury's now stock it.
NB. This Cheese was originally produced in Carmarthen, But is now produced in Somerset.
Well done Sainsburys. 5 stars.
