Our Tandoori Masala Chicken is the perfect centrepiece for any Indian banquet. The succulent chicken is marinated in a blend of warming spices, which impart a light smokiness once cooked, reminiscent of traditional clay oven cooking.
The chicken is paired with onion slices which caramelise and char, their sweetness balancing the smokiness of the chicken. Alongside, we serve a punchy lime pickle and to garnish, a tandoori puffed rice sprinkle to create that restaurant at home experience.

Cooking instructions: Oven
Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Preheat oven. Remove film lid and set sachets to one side. Place the foil tray on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven. Place both sachets in a bowl of boiled water. During cooking: Baste the chicken with the cooking juices. After cooking: Plate up the chicken and onions. Sprinkle the puffed rice sachet over the chicken and serve the lime pickle alongside. Check food is piping hot throughout, all juices run clear and no pink colour remains. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. Oven cook from chilled 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 6 1 hour 5 mins
