Inky violet in colour and with aromas of rich dark fruits bursting from the glass, this red is smooth and packed with ripe blackcurrant notes. Subtle oak ageing adds balance and complexity with hints of toasty vanilla. It's crafted for us by Indómita, an innovative young winery producing fresh, modern wines full of character. The grapes for this wine are sourced from vineyards in Chile's Maipo Valley. Here, warm dry days are followed by cool nights: perfect for Merlot, which needs long, slow ripening to develop its full silky succulence. This wine's fruity and toasty flavours bring out the best in strong hard cheese and roasted red meats.
