So versatileI always stock up silken Tofu from Sainsbury, it’s so much cheaper than other supermarkets. This is fantastic for creamy sauces (you have to use a blender) and so simple and delicious blended with melted dark chocolate💚

Excellent natural silken tofuThis silken tofu is brilliant. It has no added ingredients and is great for making either dips or icings for cakes. It blends up well and makes a great chocolate frosting!

ExcellentThis brand of silken tofu hits the spot for me in terms of consistency, and taste which is quite neutral which is what I wanted as it is used for various recipes. Slightly expensive so one star dropped for that, but I brought it when on sale and stocked up, so all good. Great for deserts, high protein vegan and gluten free. I have found if you squeeze excess water out of it through a cheesecloth it make it's even thicker consistency, for mouse like desserts or vegan mayo. It works without this method as it is, but I prefer the extra smoothness and creaminess of using this method and extra thickness this method brings, espeically in the mayo recipe where your adding liquid in form of vinegar etc. Plus it absorbed whatever you add to it, and there is no beany taste. Excellent product, probably best in UK supermarkets.

Healthy productA very versatile tofu - scrambled with some turmeric or saffron to substitute the eggs, or chopped up in miso soup with pak choi, spring onion and fresh parsley. Good value when on offer with Nectar prices. Clearspring is an excellent make of tofu. I always have a pack or two in the pantry. Recommended.

Not firm!!Definitely not for pan frying or baking, this would be suitable for a sauce and nothing else. Otherwise *yuck!!* This was gross!! Very disappointing!! I will stick with their other blocks!!

My FavouriteI am a bit obsessed with tofu and have tried loads of different brands and types. This one has the best flavour of all of them with no marinating or smoking. I find it's best if you dry it out a bit by baking it in the oven or steaming it on top of rice.
