INGREDIENTS: Beef (88%), Beef Fat (12%).
Cooking instructions: Oven
Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before Cooking: 1. Remove joint from the packaging and allow to breathe at room temperature for up to 30 minutes. 2. Preheat oven to 200°C/Fan180°C/Gas Mark 6.3. Brush the joint with 5ml oil and season with salt and pepper. During Cooking: 1. Sear all non-fatted sides of the joint in a hot pan. 2. Place the joint fat side up a roasting dish and place in the centre of the pre heated oven and cook for: Roast Electric 200°C Fan 180°C Gas Mark 6 Rare 40 mins per 500g+10mins Medium 40 mins per 500g+15mins Well done 40 mins per 500g+20mins After Cooking: 1. Remove from oven, cover joint in foil and leave to rest for 20 minutes. 2. Check food is piping hot. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. If cooked rare, there is a small risk harmful bacteria may present.
