This wine shows Malbec at its best. The subtle use of oak lets the vibrant flavours speak for themselves-damson, cherry and ripe red fruits, all coming together with a silky smooth finish. Complex ripe and black fruit notes. Soft and rounded with spicy nuances.

Malbec is Argentina's most celebrated grape variety. The grapes for this wine are grown in high altitude vineyards against the stunning backdrop of the Andes. State of the art winery, La Casa del Rey, turns these precious black gems into this delicious wine.

Good flavour and bodyGood depth of flavour and richness. I don’t know that I would have known it was high altitude rather than standard Malbec but it is a wine I would buy again. We drank it alongside beef lasagne and it went well.

MalbecThe Malbec was a good bottle of red, it was served with a cheese board which we found complimented the rich fruity flavours very well. A good price point and would certainly buy again, a rich, fruity red at a good competitive price compared to comparables

Delicious!Wonderful fruity red wine that was perfect to accompany food or to simply drink on its own. I’m not a wine aficionado but I enjoyed the depth of flavour and the warm colour of the drink. I’ll be looking out for this one again either as a gift or for myself.

Smooth deep red fruity wineHigh quality good all round red wine. Has a cork rather than screw top which to me, means a higher quality wine. I’m not a wine connoisseur, but enjoy a decent glass . This is intense and smooth , very drinkable on its own and obviously perfect with beef. Would buy again

Magic MalbecThis is a really good value Malbec. A great tasting wine with a lovely blend of fruit flavours. Went well with a spicy chicken jalfrezi. Absolutley bob on, would highly recommend and will be purchasing again.

Others really enjoyed but sadly not for meI love Malbec, its the only red wine I can usually rely on to be drinkable. I have a particular palette when it comes to wine and this one unfortunately didn’t go down well, that said, those who were sharing the bottle with me really enjoyed it.
