History: TRIVENTO GOLDEN RESERVE is rooted in the legacy of traditions, passed from generation to generation. Founded in 1996, Trivento Bodegas y Viñedos has created an ample portfolio of wines distinguished for preserving the character of the Mendozan terroir. A consistent award winner, recognised at international contests and within the wine industry publication alike.
Regional information: TRIVENTO GOLDEN RESERVE MALBEC delivers the best expression in four vineyards in Luján de Cuyo: Vistalba, Las Compuertas, Agrelo and Perdriel. Luján de Cuyo is the most recognised Malbec region in the world, with vineyards over 80 years old and a source of the finest and most complex Malbec the world has to offer.
Vinification: Malbec grapes are hand-selected, destemmed and crushed. Natural malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 26˚C for 21-23 days. The wine is then aged for 12 months - 90% in French oak barrels & 10% in French oak foudres. It is further aged in the bottle for 12 months.
