This rich and rounded, cherry-scented wine is packed with bold flavours of blackberry and aromatic spice, leading to a long and lingering finish. The region of Abruzzo lies in central Italy and has an undulating landscape formed by the Apennine Mountain range. The heat of the Mediterranean sun and the unique terroir ensure the Montepulciano grapes ripen to plump perfection.
This wine's medium body and fruity richness make it a great partner for rich meats like lamb or game.
