History: P. Bouchard (1814-1898), a key 5th-generation figure, helped bring international recognition to his house and region. A dedicated leader, he founded a viticultural school to preserve winemaking traditions, and the wines created in his honour reflect his legacy of quality, elegance, and the richness of French terroirs.
Regional information: The South of France enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate ideal for viticulture, producing ripe, fruit-driven wines with rich flavours. The region includes areas such as Languedoc-Roussillon and Provence, known for a wide range of styles from fresh rosés to full-bodied reds. It offers diversity, good value, and a more relaxed approach to winemaking compared to stricter northern appellations.
Vinification: Grapes were mechanically harvested to enhance colour and freshness, then fermented separately with maceration to refine tannins. The wine was aged for four months in oak and stainless steel to balance complexity and freshness.
