History: The appellation is located on the right bank of the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, about 45 kilometres (28 mi) from the city of Bordeaux or 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) from the medieval village of Saint-Émilion. It is one of the so-called "Saint-Émilion satellites" situated around the appellation Saint-Emilion AOC itself.
Regional information: Saint‑Émilion is a Right Bank Bordeaux wine region known for Merlot‑based red wines. Its mix of limestone, clay, and gravel soils creates diverse styles, from soft and fruity to rich and structured. The region has a moderate maritime climate and a unique classification system updated every ten years.
Vinification: Machine harvested from 25 year old vines in the month of September 2022. Fermentation between 24 - 30 degrees for 15-20 days in temperature controlled tanks with malolactic treatment.
