Cooking instructions: Oven
Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before Cooking: 1. Remove joint from the packaging and allow to breathe at room temperature for up to 30 minutes. 2. Preheat the oven to 190°C, Fan 170°C, Gas Mark 5. 3. Brush the joint with 5ml of oil and season with salt and pepper. During Cooking 1. Seal all sides of the joint in a hot pan for 6 minutes. 2. Place the joint in a roasting dish and place in the centre of the pre-heated oven and cook for. Electric 190°C Fan 170°C Gas mark 5 Rare 26 mins per 500g Medium 29 mins per 500g Well done 41 mins per 500g After cooking 1. Remove from oven, cover joint in foil and leave to rest for 10 minutes. 2. Check Food is piping hot. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. If cooked rare there is a small risk harmful bacteria may be present.
Warnings:
Keep raw meat separate from cooked foods. Use separate kitchen utensils and surfaces for raw meat and cooked foods or wash them thoroughly between use. Wash hands after handling raw meat. Raw meat may contain organisms hazardous to health. If cooking rare, do not pierce the meat before cooking and ensure the surface is fully seared/browned.

For use by date: see front of pack. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, use within 24 hours and do not exceed the use by date.
For best quality, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date. Once frozen consume within 3 months. Defrost thoroughly and use within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
