Cooking instructions: Other
To pan fry and oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Remove all packaging and allow steak to rest at room temperature for 20 minutes. Rub with 5ml of oil and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Preheat oven to 200⁰C/Fan 180⁰C/Gas 6. Preheat frying pan to a high heat. During cooking: Sear steak for 4 minutes turning regularly. Transfer steak from the pan and place onto a roasting tray on the middle shelf of the oven. Cooking time for rare is 10-11 minutes, medium 12-13 minutes and well done 15-16 minutes. After cooking: Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 2 minutes before serving. This product should be cooked until piping hot throughout. If cooking rare, check the surface is fully seared/browned. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
