Our pigs are born outdoors and after weaning are moved inside to be reared in straw bedded barns.
Cooking instructions: Oven
HOW TO COOK TO PERFECTION Pan fry & oven cook from chilled. 1) Preheat oven to 200°C / Fan180°C / Gas 6. Remove all packaging and allow cutlets to rest at room temperature for 15 minutes. Heat 15ml of vegetable oil in a frying pan to a moderate heat and season cutlets with a pinch of salt and pepper. 2) Sear cutlets in the pan for 6 minutes, turning halfway through. 3) Place cutlets on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for 18 minutes. 4) Rest for 5 minutes before serving. Check food is piping hot throughout, all juices run clear and no pink colour remains. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.

This product is not suitable for rare cooking. Do not undercook raw meat. Keep raw meat separate from cooked foods. Use separate kitchen utensils and surfaces for raw meat and cooked foods or wash them thoroughly between use. Wash hands after handling raw meat. Raw meat may contain organisms hazardous to health. Cook thoroughly until piping hot throughout, no pink colour remains and the juices run clear. If not fully cooked in accordance with the instructions harmful bacteria may remain.
