Cooking instructions: Shallow Fry
To pan fry from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Remove sleeve. Peel back film and allow meat to reach room temperature for 10 minutes. Heat 15ml of oil in a frying pan. Once oil is hot add the steaks. During cooking: Turn frequently. Remove steaks from the pan, set aside and allow to rest, keeping warm. Place melts in pan and allow to melt for 1 minute, do not allow to reduce excessively. After cooking: To serve, drizzle melts over steaks. If cooking rare, check the surface is fully seared/browned. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. To pan fry Moderate heat Rare 3 mins Medium 4-5 mins
