To air fry from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Remove film and place the sauce sachet to one side, remove the joint from its packaging and place it back into the foil tray. Allow to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes. Air fryers vary in their performance so please consult manufacturer’s guidance. Cook times are only a guideline and based on a whole pack. During cooking: Cook for 10 minutes at 200ºC, then reduce the temperature to 150ºC and cook for: rare 20 minutes, medium 24 minutes, well done 34 minutes. After cooking: Allow to rest on a warm plate for 10 minutes before serving. Whilst the joint is resting, place sauce sachet in a simmering pan of water for 5 minutes and serve over the roasting joint. If cooking rare, check the surface is fully seared/browned. Cooking instructions: Oven
Oven cook from chilled but can also be air fried. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Preheat oven. Remove film and place the sauce sachet to one side, remove the joint from its packaging and place it back into the foil tray. Place on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven. During cooking: Cooking time for rare is 50 mins, medium 60 mins and well done 75 mins. After 15 mins, reduce the heat to 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas 5. After cooking: Remove joint from the oven and allow to rest in a warm place for 10 mins before serving. Whilst the joint is resting, place sauce sachet in a simmering pan of water for 5 minutes and serve over the roasting joint. If cooking rare, check the surface is fully seared/browned.
