To cook on the hob. Before Cooking: Place unopened pouch in a saucepan of boiling water. During Cooking: Place the kippers, in their pouch into the water and simmer gently for 17 minutes. After Cooking: Check food is piping hot. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
Cooking instructions: Microwave
Microwave but can also be steamed. Before Cooking: Place unopened pouch onto a non-metallic plate and make 2 slits in the top of the pouch. During Cooking: Microwave on full power for 5½ minutes (700w), 5 minutes (800w) or 4½ minutes (900w). Shake the bag halfway through cooking. After Cooking: Leave to stand for 1 min before serving. Carefully open the pouch with scissors. Check food is piping hot. Do not reheat once cooled. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
