To pan fry from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Remove all packaging. Allow steak to rest at room temperature for 20 minutes. Rub with 5ml of vegetable oil and season with a pinch of salt & pepper. Preheat frying pan to a high heat. During cooking: For best results the pan must be hot. Cooking times for medium is 1 1/2 minutes and well done 3 minutes, turning regularly. After cooking: Allow to rest out of the pan for 2 minutes before serving. Check food is piping hot. This is a guide only. All cooking appliances vary.
