Preparation and Safety

Cooking instructions: Hob

Empty contents into a saucepan. To heat on the hob. Moderate heat 6 mins. Stir continuously until piping hot.

Cooking instructions: Microwave

Microwave from chilled but can also be heated on the hob. Before heating: Remove lid and replace loosely. Place directly into microwave. During heating: Stir halfway. Re-cover and continue heating. After heating: Stir thoroughly. Check food is piping hot. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Do not reheat once cooled. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. Microwave on full power: 700w: 6m 30s 800w: 6 mins 900w: 5m 30s

Better value else where!Expensive & only adequate in taste.
A much higher end retailer (think of the letters s and m then rearrange them) sell much better fresh soups for less, which have fish & meat in them. Not sure how Sainsbury think they can get away with £3 for a leek & potato soup.

Good Quality SoupI purchase this quite regularly. Good quality soup, creamy texture and authentic flavour. My only issue is the lack of variety in the range. At present only three decent flavours -broccoli, tomato & basil and this one. Would be good to have a butternut and sage or French Onion

Ok soup. A difficult pot to open.The soup was ok. Could taste the cheese but not much leek taste.
The plastic pot is extremely difficult to open. This time I cut two fingers trying to open it and resorted to stabbing the lid to make a hole to pour out the soup. I’ve always had difficulty opening this range of soups even when I’ve managed to break the tab, the lid is still not easy to lift off. Any advice to make it easy? Thanks.
