All Sainsbury’s Scottish salmon is sourced from dedicated farms around the west coast and isles of Scotland chosen for their ideal conditions. The farms use responsible management to protect and maintain the natural environment. The salmon are fed a bespoke diet designed to both protect our natural resources from over fishing and guarantee great taste and nutritional benefit for you. All our Scottish salmon are reared on farms assessed to RSPCA welfare standards by RSPCA Assured.

Smoked salmon is high in omega 3 fatty acids. A quarter of a pack provides 208mg EPA and 270mg DHA. Enjoy as part of a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Made using raw fish which will contain naturally occurring bacteria. These may be harmful to pregnant women, the elderly and anyone with low resistance to infection. People in these groups should not eat this product or cook it thoroughly.
Although every care has been taken to remove all bones, some may remain.

For use by date: see front of pack. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, use within 1 day and do not exceed the use by date. To enjoy this product at its best, remove from the fridge 10 minutes before serving.
Freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date. Once frozen use within 1 month. This product may have been previously frozen and defrosted under controlled conditions without affecting the quality or safety of the product. It is still suitable for home freezing. Defrost thoroughly and use within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
