INGREDIENTS: British Beef (92%), Beef Dripping, Bone Marrow Melt (Beef Marrow Bone, Smoked Salt, Cracked Black Pepper).
Cooking instructions: Shallow Fry
To pan fry and oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Remove all packaging and allow steak to rest at room temperature for 20 minutes. Preheat a frying pan to a moderate heat. During cooking: Add the beef dripping to pan until it begins to smoke. Sear all edges in the hot pan for 2 minutes. Cook for rare 10 minutes, medium 12 minutes. For a well done cook. Preheat the oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C. Follow the instructions for a medium cook then transfer steak to a preheated oven and cook for a further 12 minutes. After cooking: Remove from the pan or oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Add the bone marrow melt to the pan and heat on low until melted, pour over the steak and serve. This product should be cooked until piping hot throughout. If cooking rare, check the surface is fully seared/browned. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
