Cooking instructions: Oven
Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Preheat oven to 160°C / Fan 140°C / Gas 3 and frying pan. Remove all packaging. Heat 5ml of rapeseed oil in pan, add meat and cook until meat is brown on all sides. During cooking: Transfer to a heatproof casserole dish, add approximately 150g diced carrots, 150g potatoes, 50g parsnips and 300ml of By Sainsbury's fresh chicken stock. Cover and place in a preheated oven for 1 hour 30 mins or alternatively over a low heat on the hob for 1 hour 30 mins, stirring occasionally. After cooking: Allow to rest for 15 minutes before serving. Check food is piping hot and no pink colour remains. Remove from stock to serve. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
